Co-founder story
Welcome to PB Pathway. We're Fil and Kate, the co-founders behind the project.
After 15 years in competitive swimming, racing at Olympic, Commonwealth and World Championship Trials level, and now coaching swimmers professionally, we started reflecting on our own swimming journeys and realised something was missing: a clearer way to track progress, PBs, race history and qualifying-time targets across a season.
Fil has 15 years in competitive swimming, including racing at Olympic, Commonwealth and World Championship Trials level.
Kate coaches swimmers professionally, bringing current poolside context and a practical view of swimmer development.
PB Pathway is being built as a private place for PBs, race history, target gaps and season context.
First Class degree grounding in sport science, performance and athlete development.

Swimmer-first progress
PB Pathway is designed for swimmers and swim families who want to understand what a result means without turning swimmer progress into a public comparison. The product starts with private PB tracking, result history and standards context, then grows carefully around trustworthy sources and careful review.
No public swimmer profiles
No public leaderboards
No social feed
Progress stays inside the private account
A direct line to the co-founders
Fil and Kate read feedback from swimmers, families and testers, especially when something feels confusing, missing or useful. That feedback helps keep PB Pathway practical rather than overcomplicated.
You can also find Fil's coaching Instagram at swimcoachfil.
Grounded by design
PB Pathway is independent and does not imply endorsement by any swimming governing body. It exists to help swimmers, swim families and support teams make better sense of the data they already enter and review.
