Terms for using PB Pathway.

These plain-English terms explain how PB Pathway should be used during wider beta and early access.

During wider beta and early access, real child or private swimmer data should only be entered by a parent or guardian who has permission to use that information and understands PB Pathway is still in early access.

Who PB Pathway is for

PB Pathway is for swimmers, families and guardians who want a private way to understand swimmer progress. Account holders manage swimmer profiles and are responsible for the information they enter.

Who operates PB Pathway

PB Pathway is operated by PB PATHWAY LTD, a company registered in England and Wales. Company number: 17225354.

Parent and guardian responsibility

You should only add swimmer, race result or ranking information that you are allowed to use and manage. Do not upload information about a child, swimmer, club or competition if you do not have permission to use it in PB Pathway.

Private progress tracking

The app is intended for private progress tracking, educational context and performance reflection. It helps organise PBs, race results, splits, qualifying targets, ranking context and reports for private understanding.

Child privacy and safety

PB Pathway does not provide public swimmer profiles, social feeds, messaging, public comments, public swimmer leaderboards or public report links. Please keep child information private and only share exported report information with people you trust, such as a coach.

Not official governing-body data

PB Pathway is not an official governing-body rankings service. Data may include sample data, user-entered data or approved/admin-imported reference data with source details where available. PB Pathway does not imply endorsement by Swim England, Scottish Swimming, Swim Wales, Swim Ireland, Aquatics GB, World Aquatics or any governing body.

No guarantees

PB tracking, qualification gaps, ranking context, reports and AI explanations depend on the data entered or imported into the app. We do not guarantee data accuracy, qualification, team selection, ranking position or performance improvement.

No unauthorised data use

Users must not upload unauthorised datasets, bypass access controls or use PB Pathway to misuse another person’s private swimming data.

AI and screenshot-assisted features

AI insights are based on the data entered into PB Pathway. They are guidance for reflection only and do not replace advice from a qualified coach. AI output should not be treated as medical advice, injury diagnosis, a training prescription or a promise of future performance. You should review AI-assisted suggestions before saving them. Screenshot-assisted result entry is still in testing and is not generally available; where it is offered, it always asks you to review and edit the extracted details before anything is saved.

Subscriptions and billing

PB Pathway may offer Free and Pro plans. Checkout, payment processing and subscription billing are handled securely by our payment provider. Where the billing portal is available, you can manage or cancel a Pro subscription from your account. Cancelling stops future Pro billing and your account moves back to Free limits. Cancelling Pro does not automatically delete your account or swimmer data; you can ask us to delete that separately. If you think you have been charged incorrectly, contact support and we will look into it. Refund requests are reviewed through support and are not promised automatically. Prices may change with reasonable notice, and this page does not change the current in-app pricing.

Availability and limitations

We aim to provide a reliable and useful service, but beta features, imported data, AI responses and third-party services can sometimes be incomplete, delayed or unavailable. We will try to explain issues clearly and fix problems in a practical way.

Data requests

You can contact support to request deletion, correction, a copy or export of your account, swimmer and race data. Requests should come from the account holder email where possible. We may need to verify account ownership before acting, and we aim to respond within 7 days. Deletion is handled manually for now and is not instant or self-serve. Some limited billing or accounting records may need to be retained where required.
