Data sources and caveats.
PB Pathway shows standards, rankings and imported data only as private context when suitable source information is available.
No live official claims
PB Pathway should not claim that standards or rankings are live, official or automatically synced unless an approved source and clear source details support that claim.
Reference and imported data
Sample data and admin imports are reference data. Imported rows should keep source name, source URL, provider or governing body, season/year, retrieval date and notes where available.
Fixed qualifying times
PB Pathway can show fixed published qualifying times when they have been entered or uploaded with source details. This includes County targets, Short Course Regional targets, Long Course Regional targets and Short Course National targets where available.
Estimated invite lines
Long Course summer national style events may use invitation or ranking based selection rather than a fixed published qualifying time. Where previous invitation data is available, PB Pathway may show an estimated invite line as planning context. It is not an official qualifying time and does not guarantee selection.
User-entered results
Race results entered into PB Pathway stay private to the account and should remain distinguishable from imported or approved reference data.
Ranking context
Ranking context is coming soon and will be shown only where approved data is available. It should not become a public swimmer leaderboard and should not expose other swimmers by name.
Future approved data connections
Future data connections may be added later where permission, access and terms allow. The current app should remain ready for approved sources without implying endorsement by any governing body.
